Final Grades

Final Grades are not ready yet. I have completed part of the chart which you can check online. I still need to finish the last part, so I ask you to be patient and give me a little more time. I believe I will have finished for sure on Tuesday, July 7, but if I do it earlier, I will post it here.

I have decided to give you the extra points not in the Midterm, but in the passive translations. I thank you for your understanding.

Consultations to the Instructor

The next two weeks will be very busy for me. Besides doing all the activities that I have at the department, I also have to grade papers, prepare the charts for the final grades, prepare the extra-credit exam and the like. So I will only see students who have a major consultation with me, but you have to ask for an appointment first. I will let you know what time and what day to come. Please check the blog for all other information regarding grades. Thank you.

How to get 1 point extra in the Mid-term Exam

The answer is, post a smple of your final translation project on the flight stairs leading to the department (third floor) and you will get an extra point in the Mid-term Exam.

Please make sure to write your name so I know whose presentation are posted.

Good Luck!!!

Among my activities as a teacher at the department, I can mention to you: meetings, class time, preparing material, tutoring with SUPS students, tutoring with Undergraduate groups (2), jury for undergraduate presentations, checking papers, preparing charts for final grades, preparing final exams, and the like.

1. Approval of topic

I will not be in the office on Friday, June 5. I will be online to approve topics (Thursday, June 4, too). You have to send me the ORIGINAL DOCUMENT (without any alterations. You can use any program or application to accomplish your goal. You can seek help from anyone knowledgeable about this to succeed. The idea is to have the original and the translation, side to side, and they should look identical. The only difference will be the language, one in English and the other one in Spanish.
